This panel takes the unique approach of talking about vital but base concepts, covering topics such as creating comic books, TV shows, films, and animation; hobbyist projects like podcasts; just-for-fun projects like costuming/cosplay or fan groups; and other creative categories like music, illustration. blogging, or web comics. The panel will help you understand group management and working dynamics, networking, time management, exposure, and pitfalls. The panelists are Sean Glumace (Adobe education leader, comic book letterer), James Frye (managing editor, The Con Guy), Gene Turnbow (general manager, Krypton Radio), Ron Coleman Ph.D. (molecular geneticist and comic book writer), Dr. Renah Wolzinger (chief policy officer, Credential Commons), Topher Davila (art director, Geekdom Wear, and producer), and Mario Martinez (co-creator, Tomato TV). Every person that attends will get a postcard of some of the collected tips, wisdom, and potential pitfalls talked about on past panels. Also, one lucky panel attendee will win a one-year (12-month) subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud (a $599 value) courtesy of Adobe education leader Sean Glumace.
