Stellvia—In 2167, a nearby supernova’s explosion sent electromagnetic radiation that catastrophically damaged the Earth. 186 years later a more destructive wave called "The Second Wave" is approaching the Earth. Fifteen-year-old computer genius Shima Katase’s dream of going up into space is realized when she’s selected to enter space-piloting school on the Space Station Stellvia. Becoming good friends with Arisa Glennorth during the trip, they will train with other potential pilots.
