Elemental Gelade—During a raid, Cou, the bumbling rookie of the "Red Lynx" pirate squadron, discovers a sleeping girl inside a chest. When she awakens, Cou learns Ren is a member of the mighty ancient race of Edel Raids, and she seems to be a shy and defenseless girl, but actually holds within her a power that many would kill for. Cou vows to protect Ren on her journey to a mysterious place called Edel Garden, during which the two become closer and make new friends and dangerous enemies.
